Camping Food Can Be This Good! :)

Jay and I (along with our two beloved furballs) went camping last weekend!  We both wanted a fuss-free trip so we decided to bring cooked food hehehe... next time, I'd definitely bring a portable grill or try one of those foil dinners cooked over fire! :)

We had cereal breakfast at home before setting out for Caliraya in Laguna that Saturday morning. Below was our camping trip menu. For lunch, we had Adobong Puti with rice and Mango Ensalada.

For dinner, I pan fried some fillet chicken breasts (marinated in oil, a little vinegar, salt, pepper and garlic). I assembled the Caesar Salad on site. The veggies were kept fresh and chilled in our portable cooler. I was quite happy that Jay liked it.

The following day, we had lettuce wrapped Chick 'n Cheese sausages with all the other leftover salad veggie, grated cheese (that comes in a sulit pack), left over caesar dressing and tomato ketchup  as filling. Jay and I were both filled and satisfied.

Sausage Burrito! ;)

We had a great time! Jay is very much interested in mountain biking these days, so we brought our bicycles and went a couple rounds outside Eco-Saddle Park to admire the stunning views of the lake and mountain ranges by the main road. In the evening, the weather was cool and breezy. The star-studded night sky was simply magical. Just makes you want to appreciate God more :)

Here's little video of our weekend getaway:

Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them."
